Danny opens up to mission:MCFLY

You have to admit that after three other fansites across Europe took their chance to interview one of McFly, we really could not stay behind, could we? That's why we undertook some action. With a little help from everybody, we e-mailed McFly's Mike Allen and were quite surprised by how helpful he was. What a nice chap! After e-mailing back and forth with Mr Allen, we finally received an e-mail from Thomas Jay Smith, better known as tour manager Tommy, with all our questions answered by many girls' favourite McFly guy Danny.

'We're having a great time in Europe!' is the first thing he tells us. Well, he better! From all that we heard, all the fans were having a blast at all concerts, scattered across the west side of Europe. When we asked him about their choice to play three gigs in Holland, instead of just one, he simply explained that everything comes down to their agent, Paul Franklin who works for Helter Skelter. mission:MCFLY knows some history with this man, so we nodded understandingly while we read on about how Danny is 'so happy to be in Holland again!'

Then the interview turns a point where a little disappointing Danny explains how he hates not being able to go and have a look around in the places they're playing. But, then he happily added that they'll come back for some sightseeing 'if we'll have them again' Well, I don't think that needs arguing, does it? You're welcome back any time you'd like boys!

Remember that Harry told all his fans in an interview that they had a surprise for all fans? It seems that the boys have been sworn to secrecy seeing as all Danny can say about it is 'I'm afraid you'll have to come and see a show if you want to find out.' Luckily we did and loved both shows that we went to!

Another thing that Danny really doesn't want to reveal anything about, is their upcoming album. We are very curious about it, but Danny wouldn't let anything slip, saying that 'Yes, we are very excited about the new album, but we're not going to let it out of the bag until we are completely ready, so you'll have to wait... Bit of a let down, isn't it? Only a few more months though, I think we'll manage just fine.

Danny goes on to tell us about how they never really feel as if they are famous. He wouldn't know how weird it would be if he felt famous, but he does thank all his fans all across the world for all the amazing support. And, all girls who are afraid that McFly finds it annoying that you ask them to come to your country; don't worry! 'No, it's never annoying! We are so lucky to have fabulous fans!' And after saying that, he also revealed that a trip back to the South of America isn't too far around the corner.

Then we got to McFly's relationship with each other. Danny tells us, 'We're really best mates, yea, and we know each other pretty well,' But when we were wondering if he knew how to piss his bandmembers off, he said 'Well, nothing really gets our backs up with each other, no' And when wondering how the lads cheer each other up, the sweetest answer of them all popped up, telling us that 'a hug is always good!!' Naww. We already knew you were adorable, it just makes our hearts melt to hear stuff like that.

Last, but certainly not least, Danny has a little message to all his fans around the world. 'We love you all and we thank you for your amazing support. We look forward to performing for you all again very soon!' And with that we thanked each other and said our goodbyes...
